Recently this year’s winners of the AltPorn Awards were announced. The ceremony was hosted by Jeffrey Damnit and the awards were handed out by trophy girl Malice McMunn.
The AltPorn Awards were founded as a way to shine a spotlight on overlooked niche and alternative adult entertainment. The organizers commented that initially alternative content was very niche, »The sorts of things that the mainstream industry types might not have understood or appreciated back in the day.«
They added, »But, more and more, they are coming around to what we’ve always enjoyed: Breaking the mold and celebrating diverse individuality, punk rock DIY attitudes, ethical creative processes, counterculture influences, and a tribal sense of connected supportive community.«
There was also a red carpet event leading into the ceremony. Amelia G and Forrest Black hosted it and did interviews with many of the nominees and guests of the evening.
