The sex-tech start-up Lioness cooperated with the organization Mask Match founded by Liz Klinger to collect medical masks for hospital staff and doctors. 300,000 urgently needed masks found their way to medical personnel in the USA. According to Klinger, the goal is to organize 1 million masks.<\/p>\n

The idea behind Mask Match is simple. Anyone who has medical protective clothing and masks can donate them via the website. The team behind the site will distribute the masks to medical institutions.<\/p>\n

The entrepreneur said: \u00bbAnyone can be a hero with Mask Match. If you have spare masks, you can sign up on our website to donate them. It only takes a few minutes to complete the form, and from there, our team of over 280 volunteers will match you with a healthcare professional in your state. The process is simple, and all happens without leaving your home.\u00ab<\/p>\n

The founder enthusiastically added, \u00bbThis display of generosity from perfect strangers has amounted to the mobilization of over 300,000 masks that would have otherwise not reached healthcare professionals \u2014 and will keep more people alive.\u00ab<\/p>\n

The founding team of Mask Match includes Klinger and Chloe Alpert. Together they developed the website and structure to address the mask and protective clothing shortage within a few weeks.<\/p>\n

In an interview, Alpert says: \u00bbAt its core, Mask Match is about connecting people to save lives. When we started initial talks about the project, we realized that masks sitting in people\u2019s homes could be mobilized quickly to be sent into the hands of healthcare workers \u2013 sometimes in the same day. Our focus is on individuals at midsize and smaller hospitals, clinics, EMS, urgent care, and nursing homes around the country that simply don\u2019t have the same resources and donations as the larger hospitals.\u00ab<\/p>\n
