Sculptures, drawings and erotic art objects from all over the world are sold at the auction house Historica Auctionata.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After the formerly stock-listed Beate Uhse had to file for insolvency for the second time last year, the once omnipresent name of the company is becoming increasingly rare. But this does not detract from the legendary reputation of the pioneering erotic entrepreneur and namesake Beate Rotermund-Uhse.<\/p>\n<p>Now at least part of her art collection is being sold at an auction. This involves some 500 objects that were once exhibited in a museum that was built by Beate Uhse herself and has since been closed. The museum existed from 1995 to 2014.<\/p>\n<p>In the course of her life, the German entrepreneur not only created a brand known to every German but also built up an extensive art collection on the subject of erotica. According to the auction house, among the 500 former exhibits of the museum are objects from different eras and cultures.
