Womanizer Launches Magazine

The German sex toy manufacturer Womanizer has launched an online magazine. It is called O Diaries and is supposed to be about female sexuality and self-determination and be completely different from other women’s magazines.

The manufacturer of the successful sex toy Womanizer is entering the unknown territory and is publishing an online magazine with a sex-positive orientation that is aimed primarily at women and progressively thinking men.

Johanna Rief, PR Director at Womanizer, says: »An e-magazine may not seem very innovative at first, but ‘O Diaries’ is more than just a corporate blog. We — as Womanizer — stand for more than ‘pure satisfaction’ and that’s reflected across all our channels. You won’t find articles such as ‘Ten tips to give a better blow job’ or ‘Five signs if your partner is serious’.«

O Diaries is supposed to focus on female empowerment, positive body images, sexuality, and self-esteem. The magazine will be published in English and German. Retailers will be able to share the articles on their own social media channels and thereby offer their customers real content.

The magazine will collaborate with a team of freelance authors and publish articles under the categories Sex, Self-Love, Statement, and Short Stories. The tone will be loose, humorous here and there and always nuanced.

Rief adds enthusiastically: »We aim to enlighten, entertain and empower our readers to strengthen their own sexuality through our writing and content. ‘O Diaries’ is positioning itself as a serious e-magazine for strong women and men. It’s not merely an advertising platform for our sex toys.«
