Clip and cam site ManyVids is spicing up its affiliate program. From now on referrals for new ManyVids performers will earn five percent as a lifetime payout. The recently launched program is called MV RevShare affiliate program and might be an early sign for an intensifying fight for market share among cam and clip providers.

The recent developments regarding a change in sex trafficking laws in the US surrounding the new SESTA/FOSTA laws might make the company – and for that matter pretty much any referral program within the industry – vulnerable to US law enforcement if a performer gets forced into starting an account or a model might be perceived as being forced to be on the site. For now, it seems to be unclear to what extent an affiliate might be held responsible as well.
