In fact, the crowdfunding campaign to make artist Nika Cherelle’s gun shaped silicone dildo a reality makes the product look quite enticing.
The Indiegogo campaign by sex toy company Trigger Happy Toy to get funding for Nika Cherrelle’s gun shaped dildo started on July 30. The artwork was initially created in 2008 and was part of a sculpture series addressing violence and sex. Nika Cherelle said about her sculpture that they are »a playful and politically distinct collection of works that subverts weaponry into pleasure products«.
The dildo is made from silicone, will be easy to clean and is hypoallergenic. The Nikita will be firm yet flexible and quickly warm to body temperature. It can be used as a harness-free strap-on simply by inserting the grip into the vagina.
Trigger Happy Toy released a statement saying that the product is »designed to spark the imagination and bring both excitement and humor to the bedroom. Through our work, we hope to empower and inspire women, men, and couples to better enjoy their sexuality and sex lives.«
