September 2026 – Since the earliest cam sites appeared, finding what you want has always worked the same way: choose from a list someone else created. That changes today. Stripchat, the world’s leading adult livestreaming platform, has rolled out Magic Search to all users – making the list optional. Simply type your fantasy into the search field in any of the more than 50 available languages, and matching live rooms appear moments later.
With more than 150,000 models streaming each month, few requests are too specific. The matching stream is likely live right now. Magic Search was built to find it. The numbers are already in. Since the beta launch in February 2026, Magic Search has processed more than two million search queries. Starting today, the feature is available to every user on the platform.
Real-world examples: “Blonde in a dirndl in front of a wooden wall.” “Gym girl with dumbbells in a mirror room.” “Woman with cat ears and a cozy blanket.” For each of these searches, Magic Search looks for live rooms that match the description, not just the closest category. Research shows early users quickly embraced the freedom the feature offers. Their queries ranged from “cow roleplay” and “vampire woman” to “garden” and “pajamas.”
“Our goal is to get you to the model of your dreams as quickly as possible – no matter how specific your preferences,” says Chase Straight, Head of Brand at Stripchat, adding: “With Magic Search you can describe exactly what you are into and find matching live models. We are now making this available to everyone.”
Search the Way You Actually Think
Filters have always had their limits. Body type, hair color, outfit: useful, and they remain available, but limited to the attributes someone decided to include in the list. A fantasy with three or four attributes – or one attribute no one anticipated – had no chance.
Stripchat’s computer-vision technology recognizes what is happening in public live shows and makes it searchable, so a description finds the room even when no category fits. A search can combine an outfit, a prop, and a room setting that no single category covers.
“The search should feel like magic: you describe the room, and it is there. That is exactly what our search does, which is why we named it ‘Magic Search‘,” says Straight.
It also works in more than 50 languages. A description entered in German or Japanese is translated before the search runs and performs the same as one entered in English.
A smarter search has been promised in the industry for some time. Stripchat has led on technology for years: mobile streaming, VR experiences, and computer vision that first entered selected category listings in 2020. Now the same computer-vision technology reaches a new level, and Stripchat is also leading on search innovation.
Standing Out Can Make You Easier to Find
Models also gain a direct benefit. A distinctive outfit, room, or concept no longer needs a category to be discovered. It only needs a user who can describe it. That user already arrives with a desire for exactly that room, and someone who arrives with intent tends to stay longer and spend more than someone who is only browsing. The more specific the show, the more Magic Search works in its favor.
“We already have the highest traffic of any adult live-streaming platform worldwide. The next step is to make that traffic the most qualified,” says Straight. “That is why we see Magic Search as the future of discovery. No matter what niche you work in, we want to fill your room with people who are interested in what you do and give you even better chances of success.”
Stripchat is building its discovery roadmap around Magic Search. The goal is to make finding the right room faster and more reliable for users while delivering more qualified traffic to models. As the next step, the team plans to improve the feature by better understanding more complex queries that combine visual elements, model attributes, and other details.
Magic Search is now available on Stripchat.com for both desktop and mobile.
