‘The Wedding’: ERIKALUST’S most expensive feature porn movie to date is a hot and hilarious rom-com

Made with a total budget of €306k and showing anything but a traditional wedding ceremony, this is cinema that dares to be explicit

The Wedding Movie

10Think ‘My Big Greek Fat Wedding’, but sexier. ‘The Wedding’ is ERIKALUST’s most ambitious feature movie to date. With a total production cost of €306k, Erika Lust’s latest directorial project is bound to be ranked among the most expensive porn movies of all time.

Set to be released on Lust Cinema on April 7th, this explicit feature movie, written by Sally Fenaux Barleycorn and Edwin Osborne, features an all-star cast with Nicole Kitt, Dante Colle, Maria Riot, Jade Kush, Romy Furie, Andi James, Jason Steel, and Panterino.

With a total of 134 people and 16 different nationalities regarding cast and crew; a ratio of 108 people on set for the busiest shooting day; 5 sex scenes, and a jazzy original soundtrack, ERIKALUST’s ‘The Wedding’ was created thanks to the work, creative contribution and perspectives of a mostly female crew, exploring pansexuality, non-monogamy, and the stigmas around them through the female gaze.

In ‘The Wedding’, we follow the bride Diana (Nicole Kitt) and the groom Lucas (Dante Colle) enjoying their free-spirited relationship in all its beauty and hilarity on their special day. But Jenna (Andi James), the groom’s mother, isn’t very accepting of her son’s sexuality and lifestyle. At the same time, we’ll see how other secret tensions amongst the guests might make them take their chance with the newlyweds. Who needs a traditional wedding when you can have a hot and pleasurable celebration full of unexpected twists and turns? With a bit of spice and lots of humor, this hilarious rom-com proves that even the most unconventional of unions can still find its happily ever after.

‘The Wedding’ will have its cinematic premiere on April 20th in Barcelona, Spain, at the prestigious cinema Phenomena Experience. Since 2010, Erika Lust has been bringing porn back to theaters all around the world — ‘A Night of Lust’ is a recurring signature screening event of a unique selection of ERIKALUST’s movies with the aim to revive the so-called Golden Age of Porn, when adult movies were released in theaters, reviewed by the media, and inspired open discussions about sex. This time, the award-winning director dedicates The Wedding: A Night of Lust to her latest Lust Cinema release while already preparing for her upcoming Lust Tour around the globe in 2023.

“The making of this movie was a challenge. It was raining on the first day on set, and we were shooting exteriors with no chance of changing the shooting plan. But rain on a wedding day is supposed to bring good luck! So the rest of the ten days of shooting was a blast. Besides that, we had many other challenges, like managing 60 extras (the wedding guests!) and a massive crew of more than 40 people. I am so proud of the cast; they worked with our acting coach and became their characters. The five sex scenes are among the hottest I have ever shot! I am also very proud of our amazing crew; I love working with a primarily all-female crew, which is always an enormous privilege. The female gaze is so needed in entertainment, especially in adult cinema.”
