The two previous editions of the Pornhub Awards were touted as gigantic events, Kanye West even hosted the first inaugural one. This time around the Award ceremony by the world’s leading porn streaming site will be a strictly digital only event. The coronavirus doesn’t care if you are dominating the adult market.
No red carpet. No Kanye West. Corona is having its toll on this year’s edition of the Pornhub Awards. The leading porn platform worldwide will have a digital version of its awards shown, streaming the ceremony on December 15.
A spokesperson for the company said: »Using algorithms based on video views, porn star searches and more to determine winners, the Pornhub Awards is the only awards show that is entirely data-driven. Additional details on presenters, performers and nominees will be announced in the coming days.«
While the company is used to much more glamour and pomp it still hopes for a fun night for the winners and of course the global audience rooting for their favorite stars.
Pornhub’s Vice-President Corey Price said: »The silver lining is that we have, more than ever, been able connect with and entertain our audiences at home. We are excited to honor the biggest and brightest stars in the adult entertainment industry at the third annual Pornhub Awards. The star-studded affair will be broadcast directly into millions of homes, allowing for people to watch – and interact with performers directly – from the comfort of home.«
Here are the nominees of the 3rd Pornhub Awards. While fans can vote in 19 additional categories, these award categories will be determined by the popularity of the nominees online.
