Sex Expo 2017 With Record Attendance

This year’s Sex Expo New York closed its doors with record attendance. This year’s event was sponsored by Chaturbate while The Pleasure Chest provided sex-education sessions.

Several sponsors gave their closing remarks on the center stage, announced prize winners from contests and gave some product demos.

A trivia contest was hosted by Ducky Doolitte, contestants could win Sola massagers. Sexpert Doolittle told the crowd: »Sex is how you live- It’s the color panties you where, how you do your hair — it’s not just intercourse, I want you to have a wide definition of sex.«

An app by Biem Team connects users with medical professionals for a variety of services, including STD testing. Brian Stacy from Biem said: »Biem is designed to empower conversations about sex.« Basically sex partners can connect via the app and share their STD status. So far the app is only available in New York, but it will be rolled out nationwide in the US.

Sex toy company Maia Toys gave a presentation of the Angel vibrator. It is made of medical-grade silicone, and features a »purple bullet featuring 25 vibrating functions«. It comes with a crystal gem base, is rechargeable and completely waterproof.

One of Sex Expo’s biggest sponsors, Drilldo, showcased its debut range of household-powered vibrators. Anthony Pingicer, a Drilldo representative seems happy about the exposure his line of products got.

Lube company Pjur presented a range of body-friendly lubricants without any preservatives or fragrances. Pjur’s mission is to ofer lubricants that are the closest to natural lubrication as possible. A representative of the 20 year old company said pjur » s great for people who don’t like lube. It allows people to lubricate naturally.«

Erotic soaps, sensual bath salts and more were showcased by It’s The Bomb. The soap company is partnering with porn stars as well as cam models licensing their images for soap.

Velvet Cock announced the patented Velvet Thruster which comes in four different shapes. Richard Thruster from Velvet Cock said: »This is our first weekend selling this product and we’ve gotten really great reception at the show. We brand ourselves as gender-neutral as possible — we’re not a ‘woman’s toy’ or a ‘male toy.«

A nonprofit organization called The Door that is based in New York presented its wide range of services — from dancing and art classes to access to mental wellness experts and more. A representative said. »We decided to participate in the Sex Expo because we want to put ourselves in the position of our members — and this is where they are. Being here has absolutely paid off. While some people come up to us wondering that we’re doing here, the reaction overall has been really positive and appreciative.«

Sex Expo wrapped its 2017 edition successfully and is sure to return in 2018.
