CAM4 Co-Produces First Reality-TV-Series

Hot Haus mit Tiffany Pollard

VENUS exhibitor CAM4 is partnering with the producers of the reality series »Slag Wars« to introduce a new queer show presented by Tiffany Pollard with Matthew Camp as a judge. This marks a move into video and television for the cam company, which also made a name for itself as a podcast producer last year.

The new series, »Hot Haus,« shows the ambition of the fast-growing cam network CAM4, which has secured itself a global following. In addition to podcasts, television series are now apparently slated for production, expanding the cam operator into a multimedia brand.

The series is described by its creators as »an ultra-cheeky show featuring queer sex workers and sex-positive creators competing for cash and prizes and giving viewers an exclusive peek into the incredible the webcam community.«

The show’s producer, Topher Cusumano, says of the format’s launch, »Sex workers, sex educators and sex-positive content creators have never been given a chance to share the broad spectrum of their talents and lived experiences like this.«

The judges also include Nicky Monet and the rap musician CupCakke. A spokesperson also promises, »It isn’t just all fun and games; there is plenty of drama along the way.«

CAM4’s head of PR, Shannon McD said, »It’s incredible to see more mainstream platforms supporting our community and helping content creators reach larger audiences through recognizable media outlets. We are always wanting to elevate creators and provide a safe place where anyone can come to explore.«

Interested viewers can find several episodes streaming on Vimeo.
