Swedish sextoy brand LELO recently teamed up with high-end fashion label On Aura Tout Vu to jointly design and introduce luxurious versions of LELO’s toys. The toys created in the process will be auctioned off in Paris on May 16. The proceeds will go to charity.
After LELO and On Aura Tout Vu have given the popular sex toys Sona Cruise, the Ora 3, Sila and Mia 2 as well as the Tor 2 a luxury finish and thus caused worldwide headlines, the precious pieces of jewelry are to be auctioned for a good cause. For this purpose, they will go on the auction block in Paris on May 16.
Commenting on the cooperation between the two lifestyle brands, a spokesman said: »Intimate accessories, of which sex toys are an integral part, have been transformed for a few weeks into real fashion items. Created for your deepest desires, the On Aura Tout Vu jewelry bags will allow you to hide your most intimate secrets. Where innovation meets audacity, these exceptional pieces naturally find their place among the new creations of OATV’s Livia Stoianova and Yassen Samouilov.«
Regarding the auction of the precious toys, the proceeds of which will benefit an AIDS charity, he added, »We are very proud to participate in this auction around intimate pleasure accessories. The fight against HIV intersects with the issue of a fulfilling and responsible sex life. This also involves comprehensive and positive sexuality education for young people, which should make it possible to address themes such as meeting and discovering others, self-esteem and respect for others, and knowledge of the body and pleasure.«
A spokesperson for fashion label On Aura Tout Vu also commented on the project and the upcoming auction, saying, »We are proud to contribute to this project. By making this couture collaboration, we are highlighting the craftsmanship that is put at the service of a humanitarian cause.«
The toys feature OATV’s signature details such as crystals, gold-plated cabochons and sparkling studs, and are paired with cases that match the shape of these unique accessories. The auction will take place on May 16 at 19:30 at Studio Harcourt in Paris.
