Last weekend, this year’s winners of the ETO Awards were announced digitally due to corona. The event, hosted by Jacinta Williams and Kirsty Jennings, was sponsored by VENUS exhibitor Satisfyer.
On the occasion of the ETO, the annual trade fair for the adult retail industry in Great Britain, the coveted ETO Awards are also presented. As pretty much all events, the trade fair and the awards ceremony couldn’t be held in a traditional form. So the announcement of the winners had to be broadcasted digitally in 2020.
Dale Bradford, who works for ETO, comments on the online edition: »It was a great shame the whole industry could not get together to recognize and celebrate all the winners’ fantastic achievements. And we were particularly looking forward to presenting the individual trophies.«
Bradford adds: »On behalf of everyone at ETO, I would like to congratulate not just all of this year’s winners but also all the nominated finalists. We all operate in a crowded marketplace so just to make the shortlist is quite an accomplishment, especially as it is the readers of ETO who choose the finalists.«
Among the winners of the evening are many well-known companies in the British adult trade, including Lovehoney and Creative Conceptions, but also the German label We-Vibe and the US brands Pipedream and Doc Johnson.
Bradford also said: »Special congratulations must go to Doxy however, which found itself in arguably the most prestigious category – Grand Prix Award for Excellence – with some of the biggest names in the global industry, and yet it still won. That’s a hell of an achievement and a ringing endorsement for the Doxy team, the company itself and its products.«
