Clips4Sale Partnering Up With Mindgeek

Clips4Sale, the clip site operator specializing in fetish content, is one of the most important providers of direct sales of erotic and pornographic content created by performers themselves. Now the owner of the company has announced a strategic partnership with the streaming and studio giant MindGeek from Luxembourg.

Hundreds, if not thousands of performers and small studios, earn their money with the three big international clip site operators like ManyVids, iWantClips, and C4S. In addition to the cam industry, they are a good opportunity to create their own content outside of the streaming and studio system, to get in direct contact with fans and to work largely independently. Clips4Sale has shifted more than its competitors ManyVids and IWantClips to fetishes such as Femdom, Findom, Hypnosis, and numerous BDSM varieties.

Many of the performers and studios have accounts with several clip site operators and also use other possibilities such as Fancentro and Pornhub’s Paid Content services to distribute their own content to their fans. The website operators usually serve as payment processors and contact points for self-producers and their fans. Between 60 and 80% of the revenues generated on the sites go directly to the producers. For the portals, this is nevertheless a profitable business; for the performers, studios and producers these services mean artistic freedom, flexibility and at the same time a secure payment process.

Now one of the previously independently operating clip site companies is moving closer to the MindGeek Group, which has become a giant player through its streaming platforms (Pornhub, YouPorn, RedTube), porn studios (Brazzers, Digital Playground), gaming portals (Nutaku) and services such as Age ID.

Partnership with MindGeek: A chance to grow

The Clips4Sale owner comments on the partnership relatively vaguely: »I am excited to announce a new strategic partnership with MindGeek with the goal to take C4S to new levels. From this partnership, we will benefit immensely in terms of operations, growth, and sales, and we will grow faster and more effectively than ever.«

He immediately tries to ease any concerns from his own community: »There will be minimum changes in operations — firstly, I am not going anywhere; this partnership only helps me achieve my full vision for C4S. C4S will always be fetish-focused.«

He is convinced: »With this partnership, C4S will leverage MindGeek’s proven success in the adult market to grow faster and stronger, and ultimately better serve our studio and customers. In complete transparency, I am always available to answer any studio questions about the partnership. They are welcome to contact me directly.«

C4S not sold

While all this remains relatively vague, he explicitly states that he did not sell Clips4Sale to MindGeek.

He announced the news about the partnership with the Luxembourg based company to a group of studio operators who had participated in a webinar that the founder of the Clips4Sale site regularly offers to help them increase sales and provide tips and advice in various areas of the business.
