The manufacturer Aneros voluntarily recalls the Vice 2 prostate massager. Due to a manufacturing error, the device cannot fulfill all functions. However, there is no risk for the user.
The Vice 2 belongs to a series of toys in the high-price segment of the manufacturer Aneros, which specializes in toys stimulating the prostate. However, the hands-free toy doesn’t seem to work properly. Due to a production error, some functions are not available. As a result, the company has decided to voluntarily recall its equipment.
Voluntary recall due to malfunction of vibration levels
The problem with the devices has no influence on the safety in any way. The basic functions of the Vice 2 also work perfectly. However, a production error has caused some of the 18 vibration patterns not to run at varying speeds.
Brent Aldon, a spokesman for the company founded in 2003, said, »We regret to announce a voluntary recall for the Vice 2 after discovering a manufacturing defect which reduces functionality. We are committed to providing the full experience Vice 2 was intended to offer, and we’re doing everything in our power to make sure our customers are satisfied.«
Aldon added: »We apologize to all of our customers for any inconvenience this may have caused and we appreciate their patience as we continue to resolve this issue.«
Easy replacement in September
