The Swedish sex toy manufacturer LELO is setting a good example. The company’s employees are given four extra days’ leave, explicitly intended for masturbation.
LELO gives its employees time, time for self-love, sexual health, masturbation and jerking. A delightful initiative that guarantees worldwide headlines and free PR for the likable premium manufacturer. On top of that, it also fits perfectly into the core brand of the Swedish sex toy specialist.
Employees are supposed to relax and use their extra vacation to enjoy themselves and experience as many orgasms as possible. LELO has a political message in connection with this campaign. If possible, all companies should give their employees time for self-love. The company is convinced that this is by no means only benevolent, but could also considerably increase productivity in the companies. Satisfied, balanced employees are more productive workers, according to the idea of the Swedes.
LELO’s argument is based on the results of a study commissioned by the company in Great Britain. Almost four out of five Britons stated that they feel happier and less stressed after having had an orgasm. A good two-thirds said that they are far more productive at work on days after the day they had an orgasm.
Rosanna Spero is the author of the study. She is convinced that Britain’s gross national product could grow by up to 90 billion pounds if employees were more sexually satisfied. Productivity would increase by 10-20 percent.
Rachael Nsofor, spokesperson for LELO’s UK office also says: »We know that sexual well-being is just as important as balancing physical and mental health.«
She adds: »’With this in mind, we thought it would be interesting to find out how this really impacts people’s day-to-day life and to explore what benefits could arise from the people in the UK having more opportunities to explore their bodies regularly.«
And because it’s easy to talk and usually harder to act, LELO has decided to put its money where its mouth is. The four days of additional holidays will now be available to employees for masturbation. »We hope our UK staff use them to do whatever they want to explore their happiness and what makes them tick with the hope that they’ll come to work the next day with a spring in their step and be as productive as possible.«
