The day-to-day business of sextoy manufacturer Hot Octopuss will from now on be managed by Julia Margo. This means that one of the company’s founders will once again be in charge of the company.
Julia Margo, who founded the sextoy manufacturer Hot Octopuss along with Adam Lewis in 2011, will leave her position as an external consultant to her company and return to the company full time. From now on, she will manage the day-to-day business of the British sextoy company.
The founder returns at a time when the manufacturer’s product portfolio is being expanded immensely. According to the company, the new product lines will open the brand to »the next generation of sextoy customers«.
Margo will take over the marketing team as well as public relations. Previously, she held similar positions with Demos, Which? and the medical research NGO Genesis Research Trust. The founder is known not only for her entrepreneurial drive, but also for her political and socio-political commitment.
Sex toys for people with disabilities and the elderly have been identified as growth markets. Hot Octopuss wants to set standards in this area and fight against still existing social stigmata.
