Cam operator and VENUS exhibitor CAM4 continues to champion sex workers during the Corona crisis. A two-day streaming event entitled CAM4 x NSFW Relief is intended to raise funds for sex workers in need due to closures and work prohibitions.
The cam company CAM4 is often involved in charitable causes. Even during the Corona crisis, the webcam provider is committed to helping sex workers who have been particularly hard hit by the closures.
In order to raise $10,000 in emergency aid, CAM4 will stream a series of events and activities over the weekend. These include workshops, discussion panels and adult performances.
At the »Sex in the COVID City« discussion panel, industry representatives and sex workers will talk about the effects of the Corona restrictions on nightlife in the cities and also discuss alternative sources of income for sex workers in the digital realm.
Internationally renowned adult performers such as Ariel Ash, Sky Blue, Chris Diamond and Blaine Petrovia are also scheduled to appear during the event series. The podcasts »WHOREible Decisions« and »Guys We Fucked« will go live on air.
As everywhere else in the world, the event series will not only be viewed via stream, but participants will also be connected via video conferencing. However, some of the performers and speakers will appear together in front of a small audience. The NSFW Clubhouse in the Soho district of New York City will be the venue for live events for the first time since February.
A representative of the NSFW Clubhouse commented on the preparations: »The Clubhouse will be sanitized by a New York state-certified service before each event, there will be on-site sanitation stations and a clean-code-of-conduct for all attendees. Attendance will be capped at 20 people (10% capacity) in the Clubhouse per day. Guests will be required to remove outside clothes before entering the Clubhouse. Guests must bring clothes to wear in the Clubhouse in a sealed ziplock bag. Temperature checks will take place at the door.«
With the exception of couples, guests will be required to maintain safe social distances. In addition, face masks with the CAM4 x NSFW logo have been specially made for the event. Viewers watching the event will also be able to buy the masks. According to the organizer, visitors to the club are expected to have themselves tested for coronavirus infection beforehand.
